Beyond the Basics: Advanced Zoom Features - Spring 2021

Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing tool available to all faculty. Zoom can be used within Canvas or used for presentations and meetings outside of Canvas.

This session will go beyond the basic meeting features to help you get the most out of teaching with Zoom. You will explore tools in Zoom that will allow you to increase engagement and provide insights into your meetings. This session will equip you to do the following:

View meeting attendance reports
Create breakout rooms, prior to and during meetings
Create and launch polls, prior to and during meetings
Manage your Zoom account and settings outside of Canvas
Manage recordings and generate text transcriptions of your meetings
Exploration of Zoom 1000 large rooms and webinar
